Method
- Over low heat measure 2 tbsp of olive oil into a sauce pan. Do not allow oil to smoke.
- Mince or crush 2-3 cloves of garlic.
- Once oil is warm add garlic.
- Continually stir garlic. Never allowing it to brown or burn.
- Once garlic has become fragrant turn off heat and allow to steep for 5-10 mintues
- Strain garlic oil into glass measuring cup
- Pour into glass container for storage. Allow to cool before use.
Notes
To use: drop 2-3 drops in ear as needed and allow to sit in ear for 5 minutes. Use cotton ball in ear to keep oil in place if necessary.
Tip: If your strainer has too large of holes for the minced garlic, use a coffee filter to strain. It's a bit messier but it will get the job done!
